Thorndale

Back in 1998, my roommate at the Air Force Academy had a book prominently displayed at his desk. I don’t think a book I’ve never read has ever left as lasting an impression on me. They say a picture is worth a thousand words, and this one did the old adage justice, as the book cover was a photo of a smiling Jimmy Buffet, sitting on a beach with a laptop, overlooking his Grumman Albatross floatplane, anchored nearby.
